Every time we speak of the Lord to others, it is a
testimony. Lord, allow my words to be season with
only your love.
This is the 228th letter:
Text for the day: Acts 20:24
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry , which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
April is a special month to many around the world. It is
our aim at Garden
everyone on your email contact list if they will, receive
these devotions in that month. The theme for the month
will be, “Go light your world”. We can make it happen.
Light your world.
Our Devotional
The question today is what is a personal testimony? Let us now proceed by giving thought to our opening verse from Acts 20:24: But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry , which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
Paul was on his way to Rome where death awaited. But he said that none of the tumults and challenges and fearful events before him phased him. We have to come to the place where fear is taken hold of so many around us, but we like Paul should not allow these things to phase us. We must count our life precious, for it is a gift from God, but it is not so precious to rob others of their gift. We must determine to finish our course with joy, and to continue in the service of the Lord until the end.

From the massage, "A Day to celebrate and Give Thanks"
Thank God for "Mothers of Love" like Mrs. Phyllis Butterfield." Phyllis is a name that should be added to the list of Biblical women who are named in the book, Mothers of Love, who mothered children who were not their own (Pharaoh’s Daughter, Jehosheba, Queen Tahpenes, and now, Phyllis). When Phyllis looked upon the little boy Kevin, she had Compassion. She took him into her home (Inclusion), and then applied the other three principles to help him grow to become the fine man of God that he is today (Nurture, Provision, and Preparation).
God has done a marvelous work in you as you minister to help save others. Phyllis will have a star-studded crown!
Thanks for sharing your story....and Happy Belated Birthday!

From the massage, "Am I my Brothers Keeper?"
Well my dear Li'l, Brother, you really helped me keep my foot on Satan’s neck. Your series on "Am I My Brothers Keeper" has been, and still is very encouraging and clearly identifies the precepts upon precepts and line upon line in relations to where we as humans permit ourselves to be controlled by our emotions. The answer has consistently been that we must regard our GOD given spirit in communion with OUR spirit as our Provider, Mighty Warrior, Peace Maker, Healer Sanctifier and Friend. The HOLY SPIRIT evokes our beneficial emotions, however, the self provoked emotion does not evoke the HOLY SPIRIT but often causes us to stumble and fall short of GODS Glory.
Big Brother, Ron
