And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him. And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. And he sent him away to his house, saying, neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.

Questions
Yesterday we had two questions in our devotion in Garden
1. The light provided on Day 1 of creation week, was it the light of God's presence or from some other object created?
2. Was the light on day one of creation week just provided for the earth only, or the entire universe?
People are asking for more time to get their answer in, so we will give you until Sunday. But on Monday we will share the answer.
Our Devotional
The young boy ran into the hospital lobby with all his might. Mami, Mami, said five year old Alberto as he waited for his mother. Tell me what room is Aileen in? As his mother came over, she said you must be quite because this is a hospital. But we must see Aileen now mami. In those days Alberto lived in Bogota Colombia a Spanish speaking country of South America. As they where going up the elevator to his sister Alberto asked his mother the third time, why baby Aileen was in hospital. It was then that she told him Aileen was born with a health problem, and only had hours to live. As the elevator opened she dried her eyes and started walking to the special area of care for her daughter. But as she was walking a nurse came up to her and told her that the hospital was looking for her because her girl had taken a turn for the worst.
As Alberto’s mom was talking, he just walked into the room and touched his sister, and said I love you Aileen. As he finished the nurse and his mother came into the room. Knowing that no one was suppose to handle Aileen without gloves she told Alberto to come away from his sister. But as she walked over, she could not help but notice that the monitor was reading differently. As the nurse looked at Alberto, she asked him if he could hold has sisters hand again and speak to her the same words he was saying before they came in. Quickly Alberto walked over and touched his sister hand and said; “I love you Aileen”. With in minutes her vital signs started to improve. In a few days Aileen was release from the hospital and able to go home.
The research of science has proven that a touch is important in the healing of the sick, because we were all designed by God to need a touch by someone to thrive. Even like Aileen who was a premature infant with many problems, all it took was a touch to awaken her fragile body. Could it be said that this is the most important part of our youth of today’s survival. A touch! Today let us stop, and ask ourselves, what type of love have I been giving my children? Sad to say, many of us must admit that we have been giving love only at a distance. With gloves on, and not our bear hand touch. We have substituted the sitting down with family for dinner, family talks, and outings for toys, games, TV, movies, junk food, and letting our children have their own way.
This is love at a distance, and we wonder why so many of our children and dying morally and spiritually. Today it is time to walk into our children’s lives like Alberto walked into his sister’s sick room, and take them by the hand in love. We have tried many things to save our youth of today, but only Jesus, working through a heart of love can bond parents with children, and families, with communities. Deny them this, and they surely will suffer for it, and die, either physically, emotionally, or spiritually in life. Today we must become entirely dependent on God for our survival, and never withdraw ourselves from those in need. Doctors know the importance of touch, and strive to get some form of social contact to those who need it. How much more we should do the same. If there is a need in your family, school, church, or community, like Alberto, gently take that hand, and say I love you.

Ø We need your prayers today for the students of Tasso da Silveira Municipal School in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Today a man opened fired on students and staff killing 12 people and wounding 22 others before taking his own life. Police say they know of no motive for the killings and suicide.
