deception, temptation, accusation, even persecution.”

Text for the day: Revelation 13:14
“[He] deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast.”

Our Devotional
The Pacific War was the largest naval conflict in history. Across the huge expanses of the Pacific Ocean, the two most powerful navies in the world found themselves locked in a death struggle. The war was fought in every possible climate, from Arctic conditions in the Aleutians, to the appalling heat and swelter of the
No one could ever forget the main events from the start to the finish of this war. From December 7, 1941 - Japanese bomb
December 8, 1941 - U.S. and Britain declare war on Japan. Japanese land near Singapore and enter Thailand. December 9, 1941 - China declares war on Japan. By September 4, 1945 – the Japanese troops on Wake Island surrender. September 5, 1945 - British land in Singapore. September 8, 1945 - General Douglas MacArthur enters Tokyo. September 9, 1945 - Japanese in Korea surrender. September 13, 1945 - Japanese in Burma surrender. Finally on October 24, 1945 – the United Nations was established to keep peace.
The Bible reveals another conflict that has been waging for hundreds of years, better known as the “Great Controversy.” When John the Apostle was shown the battle of all battles which began in Heaven, and will finally end on earth, (Revelation 12:7-10).
He was moved especially by the last great struggles of the church with satanic and earthly powers combine. As the vision unfolded before him, he was also permitted to behold the final victory and
When those battle days came to an end in the Pacific Ocean in 1945, the world saw two types of soldiers, those with the mark of defeat, and those with the seal of victory. John, as he looked forward to the future, saw two distinct people also. Those who had gotten the victory over the beast, his image, and Satan, and those who had allow their minds to be drawn away from God to Satan and safe. He saw those in the Holy City and those outside, (Revelation 20:7-15). Those with robes of glory, starry crown, golden shoes; talking with the Prince of Peace, and shaking hands.
One day Jesus will come, and those who have been afflicted and tried by Satan will experience war no more. On that day when the sons of God shall meet and the United Nations of the Universe convene; everlasting peace shall be forever more, (Revelation 22:3 / Nahum 1:9). As John the Apostle close’s his message of comfort and assurance to the church of his day and our day, let us says with him “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” (Revelation 22:20)
