"Two Faces"

This is the 80th letter:

Text for the day: 1 John 2:15

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.

If any men love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Our Theme for the day: “Two Faces”

Our Devotional

Have you not notice that trying to help or minister to the needs around us can sometimes cause you to repeat yourself. Some times you may have to start all over again, and then you wonder why is it that people can’t retain what they have been taught. It is quite evident that we are living in a society with so many avenues to learn, but so little people who are retaining the things they have been taught. Coupled with a society who seems to forget their past, is now a people who are so confused with what right over wrong. But what does it mean to be confused? According to “Med-Line Plus,” “Confusion is the inability to think with your usual speed or clarity, including feeling disoriented and having difficulty paying attention, remembering, and making decisions. Confusion may come on quickly or slowly over time, depending on the cause. Many times, confusion is temporary. Other times it is permanent and not curable. Confusion is more common in the elderly, and often occurs during a hospital stay. Some confused people may act aggressively.”

They go on to say that causes of confusion are alcohol which interferes with physical, mental, and social health, family, or job responsibilities. A brain trauma or better known as concussion which is a brain injury that may result altered levels of alertness. Lack of sleep, or sleep deprivation is another cause of why so many people are confuse. Other causes are low blood sugar, lung disorder, medications, nutritional deficiencies, and hypothermia which are a sudden drop in body temperature. A good way to find out if someone is confused is to ask the person his or her name, age, and the date. If they are unsure or answer incorrectly, they are confused. To help someone who is confused takes a special hand. Firstly you must help them gain their confidences. Secondly you must look to reverse the cause which has brought about the effect. The law of life is simple, for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Alfred Armand Montapert in his book, “The supreme philosophy of man” said, “It is the eternal law of nature that there can be no effect without a cause. Confusion doesn’t just occur in our day to day walk of life, but also in the church and among believers. Like those who drink alcohol and are suffering through health inability,

There are some, servant leaders who are spiritually confuse because they are drinking the false doctrines of the devil. This has led to a physical decline in worshiper, a mental retention of the word, and a social inability to see one another as brethren. Some servant leaders have received spiritual brain injury, because they have been hit in their heads by the customs of the world. God said, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any men love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” (1 John 2:15) As servant leaders if we are going to help those in our trust then we must give them proper nutrition. Microwave meals just won’t work. It’s time to feed the people wholesome meals which is present truth. Today’s world is seeing the church as a place of safety and love, but when they come to the place were safety and love abides, they see two faces. It’s time for us all to live what we preach to others, less we be a stumbling block and cause the fall of those God sends to us to help in this end time work. Not only is it important to live righteous lives ourselves, but we are not to do anything that will "trip up" a fellow believer or unbeliever, or lead them into sin. This morning the Lord spoke to me in a dream, and showed me this devotional. He said there are two faces of which my people shall see around them until I come. But I did not send two faces but one. Remember the Bible says “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” It’s time to drop a face, which one will you drop?
