Garden Ministry

Encouraging workers in the field of the Lord.

"Am I my brother's keeper?" (Part 3 A Word from our readers)

I will shut the door against bad words today and open my heart to kind, cheerful, and encouraging words.

This will prove more effective than the healing of many medicines.

This is the 198th letter:

Text for the day: Job 4:4 (New International Version, 2010)

Your words have supported those who stumbled; you have strengthened faltering knees.

Our Devotional

This morning I am encouraged by you, our readers of Garden Ministry for your words of thankfulness for our devotionals. I have had many obstacles in my way of bringing to you these devotionals, but God has kept me going. Keep me, if you can in your prayers, as I wait on the Lord for His word for the day. I take this time to thank God for our two editors when they are able to help.

We are getting emails from China, United Kingdom, Belgium, Brazil, and many more countries to name a few. Last month we had people from Poland, Netherlands, Cayman Islands, Singapore, Russia, Denmark, France, Canada, Bermuda, and the United States look at our web page and respond. Daily there are people from the United States and Singapore who look at our devotionals. On a weekly base we have people from France, Singapore, Bermuda, Denmark, United States, Indonesia, Israel, Poland, and Russia.

During this Black History Month Africa would not be left out, this is one of the mails from there.

Dear Kevin
Greetings in Jesus name. My name is James Ogoto a born again Christian and Jesus Christ is my lord. I Love Him for saving me from my sins. I deserved death but the Lord gave his own life for me. I got your e-mail on line and was blessed with your ministry. I am married to one wife and we are blessed with two children a boy and girl. I am pastoring a church here in Nairobi Kenya and I would like to have a ministerial relationship with you .I have heard your good testimony of you and this is the reason I yearn to have this e-mail written. I will be praying for the Lord to make it possible that even one day you come to Kenya and minister to the Body of Christ. God bless you.
Yours in His service
