YOU ARE PRICELESS TO GOD

This is the 115th letter:

Text for the day: Romans 5:8 (King James Version)

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Our Theme for the day: YOU ARE PRICELESS TO GOD

Our Devotional

Cool Quiz in there latest blog asked a question, “How much is my body worth?” They go on to answer their question by saying, “A great number of people have spent a great deal of human and financial resources calculating the composition of, prior to the decomposition of, and the worth, or worthlessness of, the human body. When we total the monetary value of the elements in our bodies and the value of the average person's skin, we arrive at a net worth of $4.50! This value is, however, subject to change, due to stock market fluctuations. Since the studies leading to this conclusion were conducted by the U.S. and by Japan respectively, it might be wise to consult the New York Stock Exchange and the Nikkei Index before deciding when to sell!”

Graham Kendrick went on to ask a few more questions relating to the same subject. “How much do you think you are worth, “Is a rich man worth more than a poor man? Is a stranger worth less than a friend? Is a baby worth more than an old man? Is your beginning worth more than your end? Is a president worth more than his assassin? Does your value decrease with your crime?” We as people put value on certain things, and leave others undone. How much do you think you are worth, is not a question for those who have and have not. This is not a question for the educated or the uneducated.  The person that is wrecked with pain or the person who does not have pain, but all! Long before there was a Calvary, there was a Seed, (Genesis 3:15). Long before the cross, there was a Lamb, (Genesis 22:8). Long before sin there was Christ, (John 1:29, Galatians 1:4, Titus 2:14).

When the U.S. Bureau of Chemistry and Soils invested the hard earned tax dollar of its citizens into calculating the chemical and mineral composition of the human body the people got upset. Note these people were not upset for the experiment, but its findings. They discovered that the human body is made up of,  65% Oxygen, 18% Carbon, 10% Hydrogen, 3% Nitrogen, 1.5% Calcium, 1% Phosphorous, 0.35% Potassium, 0.25% Sulfur, 0.15% Sodium, 0.15% Chlorine, 0.05% Magnesium, 0.0004% Iron, 0.00004% Iodine. Additionally, it was discovered that the body contains traces or quantities of fluorine, silicon, manganese, zinc, copper, aluminum, and arsenic. Together, all of the above amounts to less than one dollar! They went on to say that our most valuable asset is our skin, which is approximately $.25 per square foot; the value of an average person's skin is about $3.50. During World War Two the Nazis, used human skin as a substitute for leather in the manufacture of lampshades and shoes, among other things in the Holocaust. When you add it all up mankind are worth only $4:50 in their eyes, but in the eyes of the living God we are worth all of heaven.

The song writer wrote, 1.They bound the hands of Jesus in the garden where He prayed; they led Him thro' the streets in shame. They spat upon the Savior so pure and free from sin; they said, "Crucify Him; He's to blame." 2. Upon His precious head they placed a crown of thorns; they laughed and said, "Behold the King!" They struck Him and they cursed Him and mocked His holy name all alone He suffered everything. 3. When they nailed Him to the cross, His mother stood nearby, He said, "Woman, behold thy son!" He cried, "I thirst for water," but they gave Him none to drink. Then the sinful work of man was done. 4. To the howling mob He yielded; He did not for mercy cry. The cross of shame He took alone. And when He cried, "It's finished," He gave Himself to die; Salvation's wondrous plan was done.

Refrain
He could have called ten thousand angels
To destroy the world and set Him free.
He could have called ten thousand angels,
But He died alone, for you and me.

As servant leaders of God, you need be encouraged at times in the Lord. If the truth be told, all will see how little those in ministry are appreciated.  If the truth be told, all would see how they are under-rated and talked about.  But hold on to your ministry because you are called. From this day forward, don’t let anyone tell you that you are worth nothing. You are priceless to God.

1 Prayer Request

over a year through an accident on the job?

His job has stopped his pay this week. He would love to go

back to work but can’t because he is not healed.

Let’s ask the Lord to send money to him for his bills.

We are into our 31st week since starting Garden Ministry; it is growing with

new people asking to subscribe to it each day. If you are gaining spiritual

muscle mass, and strength through Garden Ministry, and would like to help

some-one else gain Spiritual muscle mass and strength also.

Then send Garden Ministry your Testimony at,

http://gardenministry.blogspot.com/ . Garden Ministry would love to

share your Testimony with our faithful viewers and readers.

So ask yourselves, which letter or message from Garden Ministry helped

you to hold on to your faith, or helped someone else hold on to theirs?

Remember, you’re the only Jesus some will ever see.

If you are blessed by these “uplifting gems”, share them.
