Garden Ministry’s purpose is to encourage the workers in the field of the Lord, and to keep them looking up to Jesus.
But he answered and said, “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”
Satan was busy in stirring up opposition and creating discouragement. The principal agents in His hands to bring about His plan were Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian. When the work of rebuilding the wall was entered upon, these men set them selves to hinder the undertaking. Satan worked through them and used five steps to accomplish his plan and propose. Step one they attempted to cause division among the workmen by suggesting doubts in the work. Step two they looked to arousing unbelief in the hearts of the people in their success. Step three they ridiculed every effort of the builders. Step four they declared the finishing of the work of the people and impossibility. And lastly step five they predicted the work a disgraceful failure. Before things got better they turned for the worse.
But Nehemiah continued to look to God for guidance and support, and the work went forward until the gaps in the walls were filled, and the entire wall built up to half its intended height. Today as you try the latest plan to over come your physical, and spiritual appetite’s, remember that Satan will come at you with the same five steps plan to try to bring you defect. So watch out for the doubters because they only bring division. Watch out for the unbelieving one for they don’t believe in your success. Thirdly you must watch out for those who do noting but ridicule, because they are longing to stop your effort. Fourthly you much watch out for those who can’t see the finish line, because to them it is an impossibility you go on. And fifthly, you must learn how to avoid those who see you as a disgrace, or failure, because it is God who’s holding your crown not them.
Be like Nehemiah who said, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?” (Nehemiah 6:3) Be faithful to the task before you and you will succeed. Today we can look back on the experience of Nehemiah as a lesson for us who are living in these last days. Contempt and derision are indeed painful to human nature; but they must be endured by all who are true to God. Nehemiah and his companions did not shrink from hardships, or excuse themselves from trying service. Neither by night nor by day, not even during the brief time given to slumber, did they put off their clothing, or even lay aside their armor saving for washing. Nehemiah was engaged in an important work, one which concerned the prosperity of the cause of God. As servant leaders in these last days, let us do our part by showing the people we are living under God plan.
We are into our thirteenth week since starting Garden Ministry; it is growing with new people asking to subscribe to it each day. If you are gaining spiritual muscle mass, and strength through Garden Ministry, and would like to help some-one else gain Spiritual muscle mass and strength also. Then send Garden Ministry your Testimony at, http://gardenministry.blogspot.com. Every Monday of the seventh week, Garden Ministry would share your Testimony with our faithful viewers and readers. So let us look to the next seventh week and ask ourselves, which letter or message from Garden Ministry helped me to hold on to my faith, or helped someone Else?
