Moses answered the people do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.
Earl came to the meeting for the first time and set in the furthest row from the front. He did not want much but healing for his open wounds of years of drug abuse and living on the street. Confused, he set there listening to the song, Cast your cares on Jesus haven’t you heard all that He can do? Today deliverance is available to you. Although Earl found himself in pain and distressed, something spoke to him and said, seize the moment. Don’t be afraid to put all that you can on Jesus, have you heard all that He can do? Today deliverance is available to you. Trust Him He is able to see you through, He is waiting for you. In another church the people were assembled, but this time not for personal cleansing but to hid there shame and justify their deeds.
The Jewish rulers had carried out their purpose of putting the Son of God to death, but they did not feel the sense of victory that they had thought they would feel after silencing the voice of the great Teacher. Even in the hour of their apparent triumph they were harassed with doubt as to what would next take place. They were fearful now dreading the dead Christ more, a great deal more, than a living Christ. They had a deep conviction that their revenge against Jesus for exposing their hypocrisy would not bring rest to their souls. They had heard the cry, "It is finished," and "Father into thy hands I commend my spirit." They had seen the rocks rent, and felt the mighty earthquake, and now they were restless and uneasy like a baby in need of its mothers comfort.
The words spoken by Christ when he was under their cruel power recurred to their minds. While the people came to the priest for help and healing after the death of Christ, they were sent away empty. But never would Jesus turn one away empty. As they talked they finally agreed that death and the grave must hold him whom they had crucified. So they called Pilate to make sure the sepulcher was guarded until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first. It always amazes me to what length a liar would go through.
When weak leaders gather for counsel and plan to secure their wishes by evil lies, or deeds, know that God is not there. Some times we need to be reminded of what Moses said to the Israelites about their enemies who pursued them. “Moses answered the people do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians (your enemies) who you see today you will never see again.” On that evening after the death of Jesus, little did the murderers of Jesus realize the uselessness of their efforts they were making, to keep Christ in the tomb. Today you may be tempted to be apart of a group to pull some leader down or even as far as crucified them.
Remember it is God who shall have the last word as in the days of Christ. Like they placed a great number of soldiers around the tomb, there may be a large testimony borne against you. Remember there is a third day coming, when an angel shall roll your stone away. Remember there is a third day coming, when you shall be called from your pit of death and the grave. Remember there is a third day coming, when your enemies shall fall down like dead man. Remember there is a third day coming, when all shall see the glory of the Lord.
We are into our thirteenth week since starting Garden Ministry; it is growing with new people asking to subscribe to it each day. If you are gaining spiritual muscle mass, and strength through Garden Ministry, and would like to help some-one else gain Spiritual muscle mass and strength also. Then send Garden Ministry your Testimony at, http://gardenministry.blogspot.com. Every Monday of the seventh week, Garden Ministry would share your Testimony with our faithful viewers and readers. So let us look to the next seventh week and ask ourselves, which letter or message from Garden Ministry helped me to hold on to my faith, or helped someone Else? Look up and push on in the name of Jesus. This week-end let us find someway of which we can unite our communities, and help them find Jesus. Don’t stop preparing yourselves for further service in the Lord. Don’t Give Up. Look Up!
