"All things are Possible if you only believe"

This is the 98th letter:

Text for the day: Ephesians 5:20 (King James Version)

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Our Theme for the day: “All things are Possible if you only believe

Truly all things are possible if you only believe. We have been trying to send this devotional for thirteen days. I have not asked why this mail could not be sent, but assured that God has a message for someone. If you are blessed through this devotional, let us know.

Our Devotional

Today we will move away from our normal devotionals to thank all of our readers of Garden Ministry for their prayers and support of this God sent Ministry. To many they don’t know how many hours go into each devotional, but they are many. I want to thank my good friend, D. Smith of Bermuda, his wife and the jewels from heaven for their warm words daily. I want to also thank God for Karon my Wife, who comes by my desk as I’m writing and shares a kind word or takes time to proof read these devotionals, may God bless her. Most of all I want to thank God, for calling me to this ministry 25 weeks ago, may God be praised in all things.

Today is a big day for my wife and I, because 25 years ago we said I do to each other and we were married. Yes on this day 25 years ago December 2, 1984, we became one flesh. We started this road with Jesus and we are still with each other and He is still the King of our lives. We have seen good times and bad, but we have always asked God to lead. We only ask that He will make us a blessing to all we come in contact with each day. The motto of our marriage has always been, “what can we do for others.” For the next few days we shall look at were the Lord’s hand has brought us from and where He shall lead us in areas of ministry as a couple. Today may God bless all marriages in the Lord, and help those which need special care so they can reflect His love from year to year. Thank you God for giving me a wonderful wife and my (bestest) friend.

Finally, I leave you with the words of our Lord to us 25 years ago today. “Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; submit yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the Saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.” Ephesians 5:20-33
