It's Praying Time

 

Our Devotional

If prayer can move the arm of God, who marshals the stars in there order in the heavens. If prayer can move the arm of God, whose word controls the waves of the great deep from crashing pass the shore line of every island, and land mass…….Then why is it that so few people pray? Today, the infinite Creator is standing and waiting to work in behalf of His people, if they will call upon Him in faith and pray. Today the Omnipotent is ready to work on behalf of His people to restrain all the forces of darkness, if they pray. There is no time like now to pray, because, it’s praying time. There are forces working against those who are called to be servant leaders, and these forces are the forces of darkness. These forces of darkness are at work through evil men and women in high places. Some may not fully understand these next few statements, but it is true, Jesus could have long been here, He is not governed by time or space.

He is the God of the now, He dwells in eternity. But the only thing that is stopping Him from coming back for His people is us. In every age God has had a message of preparedness’ to warn them of their expected end. Jesus said just before His second appearance such a message will be given to the world. Have we forgotten the clear message of Revelation 14:6-12, which is God’s last day message to a perishing world? When this gospel of the kingdom has be preached in the entire world for a witness unto all nations; then shall the end come. (Matthew 24:14) …… Baste upon the clear line of prophecy; I can declare that we are there, and all who will heed that last day message will be prepared for Jesus second coming. In knowing this Mark in his words to the called out ones, which is the church said, “Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.” (Mark 13:33) In other words it’s not enough for you to take heed, or watch, we must pray.

 Another translation of the Bible put it this way by saying, “Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come.” (New International Version) We are happy to know that we are living in the day of Jesus imminent return. But as servant leaders we must tell the people to pray for His kingdom to come, and that His will be done in earth as in heaven. Pray that God will fill us with a daily blessing that we may share with others. Pray that God will forgive us of our wrong as we forgive the wrong of others to us. Pray that God will keep you from temptation of the evil one. It’s time to pray for the fullness of the power and glory that it may be made manifest to all who are living in darkness, and those who are looking at abandoning their faith for the pleasures of the world. Today is praying time, but who would pray? As music to the music lover is like the rhythm of life, so is prayer. As air is to all that breathe and live, so is prayer. Like the spots on a leopard is a natural phenomena to see, so are those who pray. The true follow of God is always living in the rams of prayer.
