If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Our Theme for the day: MAKING RIGHT PATHS
In the early 1920’s in the beautiful area of California a boy was born by the name of Earl Nightingale. Earl was a motivational writer and author who had a humble beginning. He spent his youthful days of life visiting his local library in Long Beach Public Library in California searching for the answer to the question of life. He had no advantage in the things of this world, he just started form scratch. Reaching his goals by making right paths for his feet to travel, he through his life made major contribution to others. His career started in the Marine Corps.
His volunteer work at a local radio station paid off in later years when he and his wife moved first to Phoenix then Chicago to build what was to be a very successful career in network radio. He retired from radio and bought his own insurance company where he spent many hours motivating the sales agents to greater accomplishments. Before going on an extended vacation, his sales manager convinced him to put his inspirational words on record. This resulted in the recording entitled The Strangest Secret, which became a Gold Record - it sold over a million copies.
“Earl Nightingale never let a day go by that he didn’t learn something new and, in turn, pass it on, to others. It was his consuming passion.” Earl Nightingale was born in 1921 and died in 1989. Some of Earl Nightingale’s famous quotes are “People are where they are because that is exactly where they really want to be / whether they will admit that or not.” And “The more intensely we feel about an idea or a goal, the more assuredly the idea, buried deep in our subconscious, will direct us along the path to its fulfillment.”
There are a few people around us in our every day life who are like Earl Nightingale; they are making right decision or paths for their feet to follow.
But to the majority of those who we meet each day they live to get, not to give back, their life is only toward a crooked path. Their prayers and acts are offered in a loose, haphazard manner. To all who are placed in a position of responsibility, and trust they should remember that of themselves they can do nothing, we need the Lord. We are spectacle unto the world, to angels, and to men. We are living in the day of opportunity, and we whose heart is filled with the grace of God and love for his perishing fellow men will find opportunity, wherever he may be placed, to speak a word in season to those who are weary. Like Earl Nightingale, Christians should never let a day go by that they didn’t learn something new and, in turn, pass it on, to others. It should be their consuming passion. Finally, work for the Master today in meekness, and lowliness, holding fast your integrity amid the noise and bustle of life, making right paths for others to follow.
We are into our fifth week, since Garden Ministry got started and it is growing with new people asking to subscribe to it each day. If you are gaining spiritual muscle mass, and strength through Garden Ministry, and would like to help some-one else gain Spiritual muscle mass and strength also. Then why not send Garden Ministry your Testimony? Ever Monday of the seventh week, Garden Ministry would like to share your Testimony with our faithful viewers and readers. So let us look back over these weeks and ask ourselves, which letter or message from Garden Ministry helped me to hold on to my faith? Look up and push on in the name of Jesus.
Our Prayer for today:
Please join us as we pray for all in areas of trust, that they will allow God to help them make right paths for their feet.
Remember, you’re the only Jesus some will ever see.
