Good
morning Leaders and Prayer Warriors,
As I think of your responsibility and
call to serve Gods people. Know that I am ever praying for you and your
success. May God give you wisdom and tact to work with all men and meet
the prejudice minds with the true spirit of unity, peace, and love. We are all
keeping up and are ever thankful to God for His care and love to
us. On Friday July 24, 2015 we spent eleven hours at the
hospital. Kevina had come down with pain to the back of her eye, with a
bad headache.
So the doctor asked to bring her into
the hospital. After seeing her he ordered a M.R.I. to see what was causing
this discomforted for four days. Kevina had also been suffering with bumps on
her legs which were causing her some pain. When the doctor looked at them he
said they are shingles. We did not worry ourselves as we set
waiting in the observation ward with Kevina. The only thing that
kept coming to our mind was, "trust Jesus with even this!"
When the M.R.I. test came back around 9:00
pm, it showed no change to Kevina's cancer growth which is now half its size.
As they did some final reviews, they came back and said she is free to go
home. We got back to the apartment around 10:00 pm that
night. With so many things happening at once, all we could say is "This
too will pass."
Truly God has put real fight in Kevina that
even the people at the hospital are now saying the Lord is with your family. One
of the greatest lessons to learn is total trust in God. To wait patiently
is not in the behavior of most of us, but God longs for people, including
leaders to be patient. It is said of those who are standing in the forefront of
the conflict. “They are impelled by the Holy Spirit to do a special work, will
frequently feel a reaction when the pressure is removed.
Despondency may shake the most heroic faith,
and weaken the most steadfast will. But God understands, and He still pities
and loves. He reads the motives and the purposes of the heart. To wait
patiently, to trust when everything looks dark, is the lesson that the leaders
in God’s work need to learn. Heaven will not fail them in their day of
adversity. Nothing is apparently more helpless, yet really more invincible,
than the soul that feels its nothingness, and relies wholly on God.” Prophets
and Kings P. 174-175
What struggle are you having in your life
today? It is time for you to know that THIS TOO WILL PASS to glory God. Take a
moment right now and thank God for all He has done and continues to do in your
life.
Today I am asking if you can take out a
minute to pray for someone who is sick.
May
God bless you and your family with good health always
