Praise The Lord in Your Storm

Greetings Colleagues, Leaders, and Prayer Warriors,

Today I want to thank God for all of you and your families. Through your payers we have seen the hand of God over us. Through your words of encouragement our hope is renewed day by day. Through our storm, God has made it an opportunity for the pine and the cypress of our life to show their strength and their stability. Through it all, our faith has been made strong and we are praying that your faith is getting stronger as you stand on the sideline watching the power of God in our trials. I encourage you to don’t stop the work of which the Lord has given you to do. Be faithful.

An update on Kevina and Chaplain Santucci’s health;
Kevina is improving but still needs your prayers. As for myself, my pain is easing off and the swelling is going down in my eye and face.  Tomorrow will be a full day for all of us as Kevina has two appointments and I have three. One of my appointments will be with a dentist to get my smile back. If I didn't tell you already, I had a tooth that was compromised in the accident. Thank God the hospital made a call to the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and they are willing to work on me to correct this. They will start that work at 11:00 am tomorrow morning July 16, 2015.

Let us keep Jonathan in prayer that God will make Him and all our young adults a blessing to wherever He sends them. Karon sends her love to all and let’s keep her in prayer. We glorify God in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. ROMANS 5:3-5

Today you may be going through a storm or know of someone that is going through a storm. My words to you and them are, Hold on! “And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.” Haruki Murakami

In the words of Willa Cather, “There are some things you learn best in calm, and some in storm.” Though it all the greatest lesson we have learn is LOVE in this world of self and sin. Praise God He will allow our storms to come our way to work out His plan and purpose for true success and kingdom building in our lives and the lives of others. “If patience is worth anything, it must endure to the end of time. And a living faith will last in the midst of the blackest storm.” Mahatma Gandhi

Truly God knows how to still put a smile on our face through it all. With nothing more but Jesus to hold on to, I can say like Job,
“The LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. JOB 1:21

We love all of you.
