The Object of Our Hope

Good evening Colleagues and Prayer Warriors,
Today we are ever thankful to God for the helping hands He has sent to help Kevina. She is still in the ICU, but calm and peaceful. Her RN (nurse) said nothing has changed, but they were able to take her off some more medicines today. With that said they advised me to consider standing by our son with my wife, as he walks on the stage to receive his diploma on Sunday May 10th.
At the same time our wonderful nephew Craig said that he would be more than willing to stand in for me and be with Kevina until I get back. With all these helping hand, what more can one do but commit Kevina to the great physician and walk by faith. I must admit, it was not easy boarding that flight, but by faith I believe it was the right thing to do. As a parent one must be forced beyond the natural to the supernatural at times when you are called upon to support your children.
If you could have only seen Jonathan face, what a moment it was to see him have his mom and dad with him this evening at one of his programs. I had to get same sleep as I have been going since getting back to Boston. Maybe this is Gods’ way of giving both Karon and I some rest for a few days.
I still need some much needed rest with all the traveling to be ready for one of the biggest days in Jonathan our sons’ life, his graduation.  Today I have a new meaning to faith. Faith is looking death in the eyes and seeing God pull back life through prayer. Faith is walking the road of the unknown by yourself and only God understand your deepest feelings. Faith is being forced to leave your daughter in an ICU room with only God and angels, and a nephew going by to bring comfort. Faith is leaving all in Gods’ hand and walking out of the ICU room and boarding a flight to bring joy to another family member.
The apostle Paul was right when he wrote under inspiration, "We Walk By Faith, Not By Sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7). The Bible challenges us to "walk by faith, not by sight." This task is as unnatural as walking with our eyes closed. But the more steps we take, the more comfortable this walk will be come, and the more confident we will be of the destination of our walk. And ultimately that's what faith is all about - it is "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence or assurance of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1).
“Hope itself is like a star- not to be seen in the sunshine of prosperity, (but) only to be discovered in the night of adversity.” – Charles H. Spurgeon
Faith has always been the hallmark of God's servants from the beginning of the world. Where the principle is planted by the regenerating Spirit of God, it will cause the truth to be received with it reward. May God grant to you the object of your hope, through the lessons of faith.
Thank you for remembering Kevina and in your sincere prayers of intercession. We love all of you.

Dear Santucci's

What a real blessing. You will never know until you reach Heaven the impact of what your life's experiences have had on others. I describe you as God's modern day Jobs. This letter has been a real inspiration to me at this time. I pray for Kevina all the time. I see the power of God working in all of you. Stay faithful, all of these life experiences will soon be over.

Congratulations to "my Jonathan". Please let him know that I am rejoicing with all of you and am so proud of him.

What an awesome God we serve.

Love you all
Ernestine DeGraff

Please let Karen read this and let her know that I haven't forgotten her. I will call again.

Happy Mother's Day to both Karen and Kevina.

Kevin,
We continue to pray for all of you for strength, continued faith and healing for Kevina.
It brought tears to my eyes seeing how God made a way for Jonathan to have both of you standing at his side for his graduation ceremony.
Tell him we said congratulations. God is so good.
Continue in faith. There are prayer warriors all over the world praying for Kevina and I know God will answer and send healing.
Love you all,
Shirle Crockwell
