Text for the day: Ephesians 3:1 (KJV)
To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Our Theme for the day: Seasons
Our Devotional
A few days ago, I was visiting a young man about fifteen years old. As I talked with him about his life and setting good plans for the future, he asked many question. After I answered every question, we finally closed with Ecclesiastes 3:1- 11 which reads.
“ 1To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
9What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?
10I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.
11He hath made everything beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
As I was leaving, the young man said to me, “thanks for taking out time with me, because I never know that was in the Bible.
To our many readers of Garden Ministry, thank you for thinking of me during this season. I and my family have had many things happen to us good and bad over the last few months. Keep us in your prayers as we continue to pray for you and your families.
Remember, seasons come and seasons go, but friends last forever. The Bible says, “One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother”. Proverbs 18:24 (NIV)
The King James Version says: “A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother”.
I’m so glad that you are my friend, not just for a season, but always.

Today is a great day to praise the LORD for the things He is doing around the world through all Ministries. Although the work of spreading the gospel in different countries is moving ahead by human hands, it is not advancing as it should advance, yet, that which has been accomplished affords reason for gratitude and grounds for encouragement. To add to this great work of finishing the work of God is this ministry, (Garden Ministry). We need your help; more and more people are seeking for Garden Ministry to be translated into their language. If you would like to translate this devotional and send it off to your friends in different parts of the world, please do so.
