We still Believe Part 1

This is the 135th letter:

Text for the day: 2 Timothy. 4:3

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

Our Theme for the day:  We still Believe Part 1

Our Devotional

Over the last several decades Bible believing Christians have believed, that we are living in the last days and the coming of Jesus is near. As Jesus kept His word while on earth, they said He will keep His word to the end. The question to all today is can we trust what people are saying on this most important subject or do we trust the Bible? To the early church, they believed that Jesus was coming soon, they also longed for the coming of Jesus in the glory of His Father. To the first century Christians they looked for the master teacher in their generation or lifetime. From the start of the early church until now, there are people who have challenged the very fact that Jesus will return the second time.

As a result some have lost their faith in the bible, and others have accepted the notion that Jesus has already returned the second time. Today I bring this subject forward because many followers of Christ have lost or do not believe anymore in the confirmation of the scriptures on the personal, visible, and literal return of Jesus Christ. Going a step farther, in some places around the world there are some in leadership who have turned asided from the Bible as the confirmed inspired word of God. Be as it may, this has not taken away the faith of them whose longing is in the one who dwells in the presence of the father who has given the promise of eternal life to them that believe. If you are looking for solid, logical and scriptural examination of Bible prophecy of the second coming of Jesus, this is the place for you.

If you are looking for the evidence to help answer the critics of the Bible on your jobs or home life, this is the place for you. If you are looking for resources that can deepen your faith in Jesus as the Christ, the Son of the living God, this series is prepared with you in mind. Finally, in the words of Paul H. Duhn, when he was speaking on the subject of attitudes he said remember, “You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt, as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fear, as young as your hope, as old as your despair.” Today there is no time to lose hope in Jesus because of the lost of finance, good health to sickness, jobs, a home or love-ones. Be faithful fellow servant leaders, all signs point to His imminent return. Jesus is coming soon.
