THIS TOO WILL PASS
Good
morning Leaders and Prayer Warriors,
As I think of your responsibility and
call to serve Gods people. Know that I am ever praying for you and your
success. May God give you wisdom and tact to work with all men and meet
the prejudice minds with the true spirit of unity, peace, and love. We are all
keeping up and are ever thankful to God for His care and love to
us. On Friday July 24, 2015 we spent eleven hours at the
hospital. Kevina had come down with pain to the back of her eye, with a
bad headache.
So the doctor asked to bring her into
the hospital. After seeing her he ordered a M.R.I. to see what was causing
this discomforted for four days. Kevina had also been suffering with bumps on
her legs which were causing her some pain. When the doctor looked at them he
said they are shingles. We did not worry ourselves as we set
waiting in the observation ward with Kevina. The only thing that
kept coming to our mind was, "trust Jesus with even this!"
When the M.R.I. test came back around 9:00
pm, it showed no change to Kevina's cancer growth which is now half its size.
As they did some final reviews, they came back and said she is free to go
home. We got back to the apartment around 10:00 pm that
night. With so many things happening at once, all we could say is "This
too will pass."
Truly God has put real fight in Kevina that
even the people at the hospital are now saying the Lord is with your family. One
of the greatest lessons to learn is total trust in God. To wait patiently
is not in the behavior of most of us, but God longs for people, including
leaders to be patient. It is said of those who are standing in the forefront of
the conflict. “They are impelled by the Holy Spirit to do a special work, will
frequently feel a reaction when the pressure is removed.
Despondency may shake the most heroic faith,
and weaken the most steadfast will. But God understands, and He still pities
and loves. He reads the motives and the purposes of the heart. To wait
patiently, to trust when everything looks dark, is the lesson that the leaders
in God’s work need to learn. Heaven will not fail them in their day of
adversity. Nothing is apparently more helpless, yet really more invincible,
than the soul that feels its nothingness, and relies wholly on God.” Prophets
and Kings P. 174-175
What struggle are you having in your life
today? It is time for you to know that THIS TOO WILL PASS to glory God. Take a
moment right now and thank God for all He has done and continues to do in your
life.
Today I am asking if you can take out a
minute to pray for someone who is sick.
May
God bless you and your family with good health always

Praise The Lord in Your Storm
Greetings
Colleagues, Leaders, and Prayer Warriors,
Today
I want to thank God for all of you and your families. Through your payers we
have seen the hand of God over us. Through your words of encouragement our hope
is renewed day by day. Through our storm, God has made it an opportunity for
the pine and the cypress of our life to show their strength and their stability.
Through it all, our faith has been made strong and we are praying that your
faith is getting stronger as you stand on the sideline watching the power of
God in our trials. I encourage you to don’t stop the work of which the Lord has
given you to do. Be faithful.
An update on Kevina and
Chaplain Santucci’s health;
Kevina is improving but still needs your
prayers. As for myself, my pain is easing off and the
swelling is going down in my eye and face.
Tomorrow will be a full day for all of us as Kevina has two appointments
and I have three. One of my appointments will be with a dentist to get my smile
back. If I didn't tell you already, I had a tooth that was compromised in the
accident. Thank God the hospital made a call to the Harvard School of Dental
Medicine and they are willing to work on me to correct this. They will start
that work at 11:00 am tomorrow morning July 16, 2015.
Let us keep Jonathan in prayer that God will make
Him and all our young adults a blessing to wherever He sends them. Karon sends her love to all and let’s keep
her in prayer. We glorify God in
our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance,
character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because
God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy
Spirit, who has been given to us. ROMANS 5:3-5
Today you may be going through a storm or
know of someone that is going through a storm. My words to you and them are, Hold
on! “And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through,
how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really
over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be
the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.” Haruki
Murakami
In the words of Willa Cather, “There are some
things you learn best in calm, and some in storm.” Though it all the greatest lesson
we have learn is LOVE in this world of self and sin. Praise God He
will allow our storms to come our way to work out His plan and purpose
for true success and kingdom building in our lives and the lives of
others. “If patience is
worth anything, it must endure to the end of time. And a living faith will last
in the midst of the blackest storm.” Mahatma Gandhi
Truly God knows how to still put a smile on our face through it all. With nothing more but Jesus to hold on to, I can say like Job, “The LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. JOB 1:21
We love all of you.

A prayer song: Praise Ye
the Lord The Almighty
The Right Perspective!
Today I want to thank all of you for your
continual prayers for my family. Many of you have been informed of the many
trials of which God has allowed us to go through.
An update report on Kevina:
Today Kevina has been given the opportunity to
strengthen her different muscle structure at the Department of Physical Therapy
- M.G.H Institute of Health. Daily she is making great progress, in getting up
early and doing the things that have been assigned for her to do. “God be
Praise!”
An update report on Chaplain
Kevin recovery:
On Tuesday June 30, 2015 I had two follow up
visits with the doctors who operated on me. Each doctor stated that they are
please with my healing of my face and the bone in and around the eye but there
is still swelling present. They said that I was broken up quite a bit and they
had to put in a number of titanium plates to mend the left side of my face and eye
bones together. They want me to rest for another week and not do anything strenuous,
and should eat soft foods for another month. I have one more follow up with
both doctors on the July 16 and they say I should be fit to fly back home on
July 19th. But I may have to take a few days of rest. Through it all. All I can say is, "What a mighty God we serve!"
Lastly, I took some time to pray for you all this
morning. May the Glory of God fill your life both now and forevermore.
You can pass this praise
report on, and don’t stop praying for those in need.
On Wednesday after my operation, at 6:00 pm
in the evening, as I lay on the bed on my back, God gave me a message to share.
The
Message:
When you pass through the waters, I will be
with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when you walk
through the fire, you shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon
you. For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: Isaiah
43:2-3
In our text today, we see the refining, and
purifying process to be carried on by the Lord of hosts in our lives. The work of
trials is most trying to the soul, but it is only through this process that the
rubbish and defiling impurities can be removed from us all. Our trials are all
necessary to bring us closer to our heavenly Father, in obedience to His will,
that we may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness. God has given
each of us capabilities, and talents to improve. We need a new living
experience in the divine life, in order to do the will of God. No amount of
past experience will suffice for the present, or will strengthen us to overcome
the difficulties in our path. We must have new grace and fresh strength daily
in order to be victorious. . . .
The Lord brings His children over the same ground
again and again, increasing the pressure until perfect humility fills the mind,
and the character is transformed; then they are victorious over self, and in
harmony with Christ and the Spirit of heaven. The purification of God's people
cannot be accomplished without suffering; But why has God chosen this method of
transformation to bring about victory in His people over self and sin?
Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Daniel, and many
others, were all sorely tried, but not in the same way. Every one of us have our
own individual tests and trials in the drama of life, but the very same trial
seldom comes twice. Each has his own experience, peculiar in its character and
circumstances, to accomplish a certain work. God has a work, a purpose, in the
life of each of us. Every act, however small, has its place. . .
Yes, Isaiah was right; God permits the fire
of affliction to assail us, so that we may be purified. Malachi reminds us
that, “He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the
sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the
Lord an offering in righteousness.” Mal. 3: 3. The trials of life are God's
workmen to remove the impurities, infirmities, and roughness from our
characters, and fit us for the society of the pure. Note, our fires will not
consume us, but only remove the dross from us, and we shall come forth seven
times purified, bearing the impression of the Divine.
If you are going through a trial or have a
family member or friend going through a deep trial today, be encouraged and be
a comfort to one another. The temptations of Satan are greater now than ever
before, for he knows that his time is short and that very soon every case will
be decided, either for life or for death. It is no time now to sink down
beneath discouragement and trial; we must bear up under all our afflictions and
trust wholly in the Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The Lord has
shown me that His grace is sufficient for all our trials; and although they are
greater than ever before, yet if we trust wholly in Him, we can overcome every
temptation and through His grace come off victorious.
Lastly, the path of the just is a progressive
one, from strength to strength, from grace to grace, and from glory to glory.
The divine illumination will increase more and more, corresponding with our
onward movements, qualifying us to meet the responsibilities and emergencies
before us until we are home with the saints and Jesus, in Heaven.
Continue to pray for our speedy healing and
recovery, that we may get back to the work of helping mankind
.
.
From my family to you and yours, we love you.
