Good morning All,
Happy New Year to you and your families. My prayer for you is, with the beginning of this new year, may all your goals and needs be filled through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ over the next twelve months. As we look back over the last year we can all say, “had not the Lord been on our side where would we have been.”
Although some people and families have suffered great lost last year, we can still give thanks to the Lord for upholding those persons and families through there trail. As we look ahead, may we seek the will of God in all things.
As for me and my house hold, our prayer this year shall be, “I am Thy servant to do Thy will, and that will is sweeter to me than position or riches or fame, and I choose it above all things on Earth or in Heaven.” ― A. W. Tozer
On behalf of my family, thank you for your continual prayers for Kevina our daughter. On January 1, 2015 she walked to the bathroom by herself without a walker. She is still in the hospital in Boston with a long way to go, but be the will of God she will come through. I am back on the island for a few weeks and Karon will stay with Kevina to help. We seek your prayers for us during this time that we remain faithful to the Lord and His people in all things.
Lastly, the Lord has shown me that He is coming soon. Now learn a lesson from the fig tree; as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. So also, when you see all these things, (But what things) (the signs of the times), you know that He is near, even at the very gates.” May we do all in our power to be ready and help others be ready for His return as well.
So, “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any men draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.” Hebrews 10:35-39
We love you and long to see all of you.
