**JOY: Strength for Every Season**
Have you ever wondered why some people can remain at peace even in the middle of life's greatest storms? The answer is not found in circumstances, possessions, or success. It is found in something much deeper, and that is joy.
True joy is not a superficial emotion; it is a deep, lasting state of spiritual well-being rooted entirely in a relationship with God.
The Bible says, "Enter thou into the joy of thy lord." Matthew 25:23.
So why are so many people restless today? Because many do not go to the only true source of happiness.
Joy is not the same as happiness. Happiness comes and goes with circumstances, but joy is deeper, it comes from knowing that God is with us and for us, no matter what.
The Bible says, "...for the joy of the Lord is your strength." Nehemiah 8:10.
In Nehemiah 8, the people had returned from exile and were weeping as they heard God’s Word. But Nehemiah told them, "Do not mourn... for the joy of the Lord is your strength." Their strength was not in perfection, but in God’s love for them.
"Joy doesn't deny pain, it overcomes it."
Let joy be your strength in every moment today.
## Let This Be Your Prayer Today
Father, give me strength that flows from Your joy. Help me rise above my circumstances and find peace in knowing You. Let my life reflect the joy that comes only from walking with You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
