Good day Prayer Warriors,
For
the next ten days, the church of which I am apart of is having Ten Days of
Prayer. In these ten days, it is my goal to invite you to join me in prayer for
all people under heaven. May I take the liberty to personalize this
message of prayer for all. This year, I believe that God desires to work through
people like you and me in making in making the lives of others better. I believe
that many miracles will be seen through these Ten Days of Prayer.
I
believe that the Holy Spirit will bring about a revival, and reformation towards the conversion of souls renewed through the passion of ministry that heals our
lands and relationships. I believe that through prayer leaders will be
strengthened. I believe that from January 11-21, 2017, these days of prayer
will be in an unusual way that causes spiritual growth. So start today in calling your group to meet in daily
prayer by phone, messenger, facetime, or in person. Let us take time to unite with a church member, neighbor, job colleague, and family member in these Ten Days of
Prayer between January 11 and 21. Encourage yourself to take out time every day, over these next ten days to present to God someone
new in your prayers. The Bible encourages us to, "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. One of my favored writers said, "PRAYER to the Great Physician for the healing of the soul brings the blessing of God. PRAYER unites us one to another and to God. PRAYER brings Jesus to our side, and gives new strength and fresh grace to the fainting, perplexed soul. By PRAYER the sick have been encouraged to believe that God will look with compassion upon them. A ray of light penetrates to the hopeless soul, and becomes a savor of life unto life. PRAYER has "subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire,"--we shall know what this means when we hear the reports of the martyrs who died for their faith,--"turned to flight the armies of the aliens."
Join
me on the weekend of January 21, at the church of your choosing, to take out a
few moments in the service for prayer for your families, church and needs of your country. This day
should be a day of celebration for what God has done in answer to the united prayer of all around the world. I hope these ideas and suggestions will help make the Ten Days of Prayer 2017 a
powerful experience for your small group or church family. As you embark on
this journey, take time to read the promises of God in His word and hold them
close to your heart.
Lastly,
I will like for you to share with me, and our readers, what the Lord in doing for you through
these Ten days of prayer. So email me your testimonies. Remember, everyone will
be given a blessing over these ten days. So let us take out a few moments to
share them.
Items
you will need over the next Ten Days: 1. Prayer Journey; 2. Daily Theme
for the day in your time of prayer; 3. Ask another Church, group, or friend to unite with you in
prayer for each day; 4. Set aside a special time each day for your time of Prayer over these next ten days.
Remember;
Satan is thrilled if he can keep us talking about the problem instead of
praying about the problem. So let us pray.
