Praise God the ministry continues in Boston. On Wednesday evening February 10, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, about 20 people came out to listen to the word of God. Over half made a decision to except Jesus as their personal savior. The number has dropped due to the cold weather as there was about 60 people faithfully coming out to our service from Cape Varda. Good good thing about this, is that all 20 persons are doing Bible studies. During the next few days while I am getting some more work done in Boston to myself and giving my wife Karon some rest with working with Kevina, pray for her and I as we minister with the team at the home of sister Marg. Let us also say a special prayer for sister Gomes my interpreter who is speaking beside me.
It is said, "Every opportunity should be improved to extend the truth to other nations. This will be attended with considerable expense, but expense should in no case hinder the performance of this work. Money is of value only as it is used to advance the interest of the kingdom of God. The Lord has lent men means for this very purpose, to use in sending the truth to their fellow-men. There is a great amount of surplus means in the ranks of Seventh-day Adventists, (and other churches); and the selfish withholding of it from the cause of God, is blinding their eyes to the importance of the work of God, making it impossible for them to discern the solemnity of the times in which we live, or the value of eternal riches. They do not view Calvary in the right light, and therefore cannot appreciate the worth of the soul for which Christ paid an infinite price." – {GW92 51.2} Take it from me, what little money we get each month, we use it for the care of Kevina and the furthering of the gospel. May God help us all do our part in sharing the gospel in some way.
