A Week of Sowing Compassion (January 24-30, 2016)

Week of January 25, 2016

A Week of Sowing Compassion

Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Hebrews 12:15

Good day All,

Welcome to a week of compassion. During this week, we will take out a moment to share a kind act, or word with someone. As one who loves to plant a garden, I have learned over the years that every seed sown produces a harvest of its kind. Ella Wheeler Wilcox was right when she said, "With every deed you are sowing a seed, though the harvest you may never see." So let us do our part today, to bring joy to someone.

As the seed sown produces a harvest, and this in turn is sown, the harvest is multiplied. In our relation to others, this law holds true. Have you ever considered that every act committed, and every word spoken, is a seed that will bear fruit. Every deed of thoughtful kindness, of obedience, or of self-denial, will reproduce itself in others, and through them in still others. So every act of envy, malice, or dissension is a seed that will spring up in a "root of bitterness” whereby many shall be defiled. The question today is, "How much larger number will the “many” poison?"

Today, we all need to get back to sowing seeds of compassion, sympathy, and love to those we meet day to day. May every characteristic of selfishness, self-love, self-esteem, every act of self-indulgence be put away. For we shall reap what we sow, and we may not like harvest. He who lives for self is sowing to the flesh, and of the flesh he will reap corruption. But he that sows to the spirit, shall reap everlasting life. The Bible says, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." Galatians 6:7-9

Finally, January 24 - 30, 2016 has been set aside as a Week of Prayer (WOP) for the Security Forces in which the MCFs of the region will: The North American region of  the AMCF comprises Canada, USA, Bahamas, Bermuda, all the non Spanish speaking nations of the Caribbean plus Guyana, Suriname and Belize. The past 6 years have set aside of the last complete week of January as a Week of Prayer (WOP) for the Security Forces in which the MCFs of the region will:

Special events are held and focus prayers for leaders and for the men and women in uniform of their own forces and their region. We encourage churches and ministries to hold special prayer events for their security forces this week in their prayer meeting service or church service. This is a time to reach out to evangelize the unsaved members of their respective forces and to take prayer to outlying units/detachments/ locs/posts/etc. This is a time to reach out to the local churches to sensitize them of the need to pray for their militaries (incl police, fire and prison officers) and to encourage their members to join such institutions and bring the light of JESUS with them when they join.

There is no single venue for this but the hope is that there will be many fires lit in each nation through their churches and spiritual leaders throughout the region. Each nation/addressee is encouraged to send specific Prayer Requests to Association for Christian Conferences Teaching and Service, (ACCTS) which will in turn compile and send out to each of the national MCFs (Military Christian Fellowships). If you have a request for prayer for our men and women in uniform in Bermuda, you can send those to Me, Chaplain Kevin Santucci, the regions representative at, TucciGardenMinistry@gmail.com
On behalf of Nestor Ogilvie, Lt Col Retd AMCF VP North American Region Head, we ask Gods blessing on all.

LET US SEND IN OUR REQUEST FOR OUR MEN AND WOMAN IN UNIFORM TODAY.

THE POWER OF GOD IN KEVINA SANTUCCI

Dear Prayer Warriors and readers of GM,

TODAY AS YOU SIT TO PRAY OR THANK GOD FOR YOUR DAY. REMEMBER THE TRUE AND LIVING GOD, WHO ANSWERED YOUR PRAYERS FOR KEVINA SANTUCCI. Look at the power of God, as She ministers in song in one of the churches in Cambridge Mass on January 2, 2016 before her dad speaks.

GOD IS NOT LOOKING FOR HUMAN PERFECTION, BUT SPIRITUAL CONSECRATION TO FINISH THE WORK OF THE GOSPEL IN THIS GENERATION.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Matthew 24:14

It is said, "To the consecrated worker there is wonderful consolation in the knowledge that even Christ during His life on earth sought His Father daily for fresh supplies of needed grace; and from this communion with God He went forth to strengthen and bless others. Behold the Son of God bowed in prayer to His Father! Though He is the Son of God, He strengthens His faith by prayer, and by communion with heaven gathers to Himself power to resist evil and to minister to the needs of men. As the Elder Brother of our race He knows the necessities of those who, compassed with infirmity and living in a world of sin and temptation, still desire to serve Him. He knows that the messengers whom He sees fit to send are weak, erring men; but to all who give themselves wholly to His service He promises divine aid. His own example is an assurance that earnest, persevering supplication to God in faith--faith that leads to entire dependence upon God, and unreserved consecration to His work--will avail to bring to men the Holy Spirit's aid in the battle against sin.

Every worker who follows the example of Christ will be prepared to receive and use the power that God has promised to His church for the ripening of earth's harvest. Morning by morning, as the heralds of the gospel kneel before the Lord and renew their vows of consecration to Him, He will grant them the presence of His Spirit, with its reviving, sanctifying power. As they go forth to the day's duties, they have the assurance that the unseen agency of the Holy Spirit enables them to be "laborers together with God." A word to the wise!

"I Know that My Redeemer Lives" Just Over a Year in Review

Good morning Prayer Warriors and Colleagues

Praise God ministry in our area of Dorchester Mass. is seeing some results. A young lady in the neighborhood who is one year older then Kevina has made a re-commitment to the Lord. She has a son who is 4 years old, who was born on the same day as our granddaughter Karis but 3 hours before Karis. this young lady's father has gone missing in Jamaica and her mother lives in New York with other family members. We have opened up our arms for her to come over to have worship with us and just to talk too. Keep her in prayer as God has great plans for her and her family.

Updates:

Kevina is doing very good these days. They are working her off the medicines which will take some time. Jonathan came over to us for a few days. Keep him in prayer that he will reach the mark in his next course of the months of schooling.

Karis is doing good with the things she is learning, as Kevina and Karon are teaching her daily. Karon is still smiling and in a good spirit and full of the HOLY SPIRIT.

As to staying in touch with the Lord, He has been waking me up early to tell me it is time for us to talk. The first part of the morning has been in prayer, and the second part of these early hours, He has been flooding my mind with so many blessings of which He has been able to bless others through me with.

I have been asked to help out at a church while here in Boston, every time I'm in town by the overseeing pastor who has two churches on last Wednesdays prayer meeting.  The church is about 25 min. away from us in Cambridge, Mass. There are many other fires that have got started through the power of the HOLY SPIRIT of which the LORD has called me to minister other in Mass.

On the first Sabbath, we saw 6 people give their hearts to the Lord. At yesterday's service, over 24 people gave their hearts to the Lord. Others recommitted themselves anew to Lord in service. Yesterday, I also had a call from the state prison by the chaplain of the prison requesting me to come and speak to the inmates from 9:00 am until 11:30 am. I regretfully had to turn it down because it was a long drive to and from the prison. Let us pray for the work in Bermuda and Mass as God has Hid Way. I was told that the other pastors of our faith do not go out to the prisons when called. I told them, "if they line me up early, I"ll be there to speak a word for my loving Jesus."

Let us keep the 40 women who gave their hearts to the Lord last Sunday morning December 27th, 2015 when I gave the message to the women in the oldest women's state prison in the USA. Also, let us remember in prayer the 50 men who gave their hearts to the Lord on Monday December 28th, 2015 in the same state prison which called for me to speak to them yesterday.

We have seen many soul come to Jesus in Bermuda, and sad to say some others turn from following the Lord Jesus Christ. Please keep the work of sharing the gospel in my home country Bermuda in your prayers.

In talking to one of my sisters in the faith from Bermuda, Sonia Howes, this morning, I was reminded by her that "The Spirit is definitely moving amongst the people. An old throwback song says "when you've tried everything and everything fails, try Jesus... Indeed, our community is searching, hungry and thirsty for the truth, love, and acceptance."

But note all of these souls have been touched by the Lord in both Bermuda and Boston because God had allowed Satan to test my family's faith.

We have been through many test as a family for the past fifteen years. But the start of a succession of test will come our way. The darker days began a year and ten months ago when my church reducing me to a part time worker. In that same month Kevina had to be taken to John Hopkins Hospital for sickness. then in June to July she had to go back to the same hospital. We got home on the 23rd to view my wife brother in a public viewing. He was put to rest on the following day. In forty days we would suffer ten deaths of our family. in late October Kevina would have to be taken back to a hospital overseas but this time for cancer in her head.

I have not taken a bad spirit on this, and dogged God or anyone, or stopped working full time for the Lord. Remember, it was him who gave me the call over many years ago. He said to me, "Wherever I allow you to be, or what state You may find yourself in, I want you to be faithful, for faith is He who has called you."

Today, I want all to know that I am on the battle field for my Lord because I promised Him that I would serve Him till I die or see Him without seeing death. I also want all to know that I love the work of the Lord and His people and hold nothing over anyone's head. We must learn to work together in good times and bad times, in rich times or if we are in poor times. We must take on the spirit of the church of Acts 2:42-47 which says, "42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. 44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, (or divided their salary) and parted them to all men, as every man had need. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, (they worked together) and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved." God is good!

As you will see Satan did not give up with causing suffering me and my family; he caused Kevina to become so sick. But God allowed this, so Kevina would be sent to Boston for this time for treatment. Even unto the portals of death she was, not once, but three times, with many complications over her last year and three months. This has forced my wife to give up her part time job for the last 15 months to care for Kevina. As with many people with insurance, we have had our setbacks even up to this passed week when we were told that they will not be paying for some of Kevina's care. God will work this out to his glory! Then, Satan himself came by my home in Bermuda to try to kill me last June, causing me to be brought back to Boston for almost twelve weeks of treatment on top of Kevinas sinkness. But God is still good!

I have now come to the place where it doesn't matter anymore what men or demons will do to me or my family. I must live for Jesus and give God my all. I must do all in my power and straight to help the work of the Lord in Bermuda at my church or any church in the world because it is God's church. I must do God's will moving forward, in going where He sends me, or allowing me to be in ministry only. One thing I do know is that God is not finished with me in Bermuda with my brothers and sisters in the churches or civic duties. Rather, he has opened up doors for a wider ministry for which others shall be apart of. I am due back home in Bermuda on January 10th to continue with the ministry there in the church of the living God, the school, and other civic areas of ministry.

Lastly I want to thank all for their support in whatever way you where impressed by God,and prayers  for our family this pass year. Spacial thanks go out to the Rockaway SDA church who provides boxes of books and literature to me as I need them to pass out to the hundreds of people I have met this pass year in Boston.  I've been very open on this email because I want all to know that it has been God who has allowed all these thing to teach us all faith. To the glory of God!

Five Needs of Prayer:
  1. Pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on our own personal lives, that God will work in a powerful way this year in all countries of the world.
  2. Pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on our families, and our communities, that this will be the year of healing, of restoration, of binding up the wounds, and of growing and moving forward together for God's glory.
  3. Pray for all backslidden members of every church that God lay them on our hearts, that God will love them back to Himself through us with wisdom and words of encouragement.
  4. Pray for the promise of the full outpouring of the Holy Spirit in fulfillment of His word.
  5. Pray for my family and with these new born babies in Christ.

This year God shall break every chain, and not do it the conventional way in which we have seen it done in the pass. He say, "Lo, I am doing a new thing, now it springeth up, Do ye not know it? Yea, I put in a wilderness a way, In a desolate place — floods." Isaiah 43:19

May your day be Bless

Song of the Day:

"I Know that My Redeemer Lives" By Lindsey Stirling and  Lexi Walker

I Give You My Heart

Good morning All,

As the New Year came rolling in last night at whatever time you celebrated it. I pray it was filled with great joy, and love as we had with our family. This year I pray that the goodness of God may fill you and your homes with joy, peace, love, prosperity, and good health always. Looking ahead, I wish the fulfillment of the prayer of Jesus on you and your fellow men, brother with brother, and sister with sister in the body of Christ. “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may (know and) believe that thou hast sent me.” John 17:21

This year God has a great plan for you and your family in your home, your work place, and your place of recreation with your fellow men. I am happy to be a part of Gods plan to bring you to the place that He can move upon you and work through you in these last days. Remember, God has a deep interest in you, and greatly desire to see you striving to perfect a character like Him, Continue to seek by diligent study and earnest prayer to gain the training essential for acceptable service in the cause of God and He shall reward you openly.

It doesn't matter how great your trials may seem this year; they cannot exceed what Christ endured for you that you might know the way, the truth, and the life. The Lord has shown me this morning that in 2016 it is only by a life of conformity to His example, we are to show our appreciation of His sacrifice in our behalf, and be overcomers.

You must see that you are bought with an infinite price, even the blood of the Son of God. As you put one step in front of the other on the 2016 road of life, consider the sacrifice of the Father in permitting His Son to make His sacrifice for you. Consider what Christ gave up when He left the courts of heaven and the royal throne, to give His life a daily sacrifice for you.

He suffered reproach and abuse. He bore all the insult and mockery that wicked men could heap upon Him. And when His earthly ministry was accomplished, He suffered the death of the cross. Consider His sufferings on the cross,--the nails driven into His hands and feet, the derision and abuse from those He came to save. Consider the hiding of His Father's face because of His great love for you. But it was by all this that Christ made it possible for all, you even me, who are willing, to have the life that measures with the life of God.

May your community be filled with joy, peace, and love because of you. May your day be filled with blessings as a token of the many wonderful blessings that God has in store for you and through you to others this year.

Prayer for the day: My number one prayer this year is that I give you my heart Lord, and help others do the same through the Holy Spirits power.

Keep us in prayer as I continue to pray for you and your family.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Maranatha, Jesus is coming
