Hear the words of
prudence, give heed unto her counsels, and store them in thine heart; her
maxims are universal, and all the virtues lean upon her; she is the guide and
the mistress of human life. Akhenaton
Text for the day: Therefore let anyone
who thinks he stands [who feels sure that he has a steadfast mind and is
standing firm], take heed lest he fall [into sin]. 1
Corinthians10:12 AMP
Our Devotional
Many sincere religious people
have been mistakenly led to believe that it is utterly impossible for a child
of God to fall from the grace of God. But this is not true. Infact, the
Bible teaches the opposite. When the Lord speaks of His people and their
waywardness He says, “My people are bent on backsliding from me: though they
call (take out "them" to him that is on high, none at all
will exalt him” (Hos. 11:7). In other words, they are determined to turn away
from me.
Moses had warned Israel of the
possibility of their forgetting the Lord and the wonderful signs He had
performed in the wilderness Deuteronomy 8:11-14; Then He said "that they
should watch what you do!"
Be careful with their very life!
Don’t forget the things they saw with their own eyes, and don’t let them fade
from their memory. Remember (remind them) their whole mind; and teach them to
their children and their grandchildren Deuteronomy 4:9.
The noble prophet Ezekiel
declared: “When the righteous man turns away from this righteousness, and
commits iniquity, and dies therein; in his iniquity that he has done shall he
die” Ezekiel 18:26. With all the wisdom that one could have asked for, the
greatest king that ever wielded a scepter was given. The question by many has
been, “How could one that had been honored and applauded as the wisest among
kings, became a humiliating wreck? How? Jesus was right when he said unto them,
“Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the
abundance of the things which he possesseth.” Luke 12:15 KJV
“Solomon, once "a"
noble character, bold and true for God and righteousness, became deteriorated.
His profligate expenditure for selfish indulgence made him the instrument of
Satan’s devices. His conscience became hardened. His conduct as a judge changed
from equity and righteousness to tyranny and oppression.... Solomon tried to
incorporate light with darkness, Christ with Belial, purity with impurity. But
in the place of converting the heathen to the truth, pagan sentiments
incorporated themselves with his religion. He became an apostate.” 27Manuscript
47, 1898.
Some believe that whatever they
do, just rest with them, but this is not true neither. Like Solomon, the marks
of our apostasy lived ages after us. In the days of Christ, the worshipers in
the temple could look, just opposite them, upon the Mount of Offense, and be
reminded that the builder of their rich and glorious temple, the most renowned
of all kings, had separated himself from God, and reared altars to heathen
idols; that the mightiest ruler on earth had failed in ruling his own spirit.
If the story stopped there, then
there would be no hope for anyone. But Solomon went down to his death a
repentant man; but his repentance and tears could not efface from the Mount of
Offense, the signs of his miserable departure from God. Ruined walls and broken
pillars bore silent witness for a thousand years to the apostasy of the
greatest king that ever sat upon an earthly throne.
As you reflect on your life
today, can you say that you are living a life of truth, or a lie? Are you
living fully for Jesus, or are you still hanging in the darkness with the
enemy? If you need help today, just call on Jesus and He will answer your cry,
like he answered the cry of Solomon. Remember to always take heed to
yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and
drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you
unawares. To you who have falling from the grace of God, “Look now to Jesus,
and let mercy rewrite your life.”

Testimonials:
Thursday July 17, 2014 will be a
day we will never forget. The doctor came to my wife and said, “What he thought
he would have to do with Kevina procedure he did not have to. Things were better
than what he expected. Something has changed in her salivary glands. Well I can’t
tell you what happen.” But we believed God stepped in.
In the words of our daughter
Kevina Santucci of Bermuda this is what she said after she awoke from her
operation in John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore MD. “We always say we see God
working, but never in my life have I experienced such an amazing testament of
faith. Today, they were to remove my left submandibular salivary gland because
of scaring and malfunction.
Friends and family...ooooohh let
me tell you!!!! GOOOOODDDDD!! THE GOD WE SERVE SHOWED UP! The doctor went in
and found NO SCARING! He only had to make a minimal incision but was able to
flush out some of the inflammation in my gland. The cause of inflammation in my
glands is still a mystery as of now but my gland is still in my face! I didn't
have to be intubated and put in I.C.U because my lungs stayed open! Y'all I’m
in tears! I just can't thank God enough! Prayer! Oh prayer works y'all! Thank
you so much! Please don't stop! In a months time I want to tell the Dr. I have
no flare up at all! I love you all so much!” Thank you all for the prayers and
please continue to pray for her.
Blessing to you

Today is a great day to praise the LORD for the things He is doing
around the world through all types of ministries. Although the work of
spreading the gospel in different countries is moving ahead by human hands, it
is not advancing as it should. Yet, that which has been accomplished affords
reason for gratitude and grounds for encouragement.
Garden ministries propose is to aid in the great work of finishing
the work of God in this generation. But we need your help; more and more people
are seeking for Garden Ministry to be translated into their language. If you
would like to translate this devotional into your language and send it off to
your friends in different parts of the world, please do so.
If possible,
share with us your response of the people through your sharing of this
Devotional.
