Encouraging workers in the field of the Lord.

THOSE WHO WORK THE LAND SHALL EAT FROM THE LAND

With so many people fussing about the high cost of food and food security. Today, it is high time to put the working of our hands to our mouths and do something to help ourselves and our families.

The Bible clearly states, "Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense." Proverbs 12:1.

How important is it to follow this wisdom and gather the biblical treasures that are as lasting as eternity?

Today, many of the world's so-called wise men are wise only in their own estimation. Content with the acquisition of worldly wisdom, they never enter the garden of God, to become acquainted with the treasures of knowledge contained in His holy Word. Supposing themselves to be wise, they are ignorant concerning the wisdom that all must have to gain eternal life.

Those who are striving only for an education in the sciences of gardening have not learned the lesson that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, these persons are working helplessly and hopelessly, questioning the reality of everything. They may acquire an education in the sciences of gardening or any other science, but unless they gain a knowledge of the Bible and a knowledge of God, they are without true wisdom. The unlearned man, if he knows God, has a pearl of more enduring wisdom than has the most learned man who despises the instruction of God.

As you go through your day, remember that the promise of God to His children is, "You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours." Psalm 128:2.

SPECIAL BLESSINGS AWAIT YOU.

From creation week to this day, God has pronounced a special blessing upon all who worship Him in the spirit of love and keep the Sabbath holy.

It is said, "The strong force of the downward current will sweep you off your feet unless you are united to God through Christ as the limpet to the rock."

Today, all heaven is represented as beholding and watching upon the Sabbath those who acknowledge the claims of the fourth commandment and are observing the Sabbath. Angels are marking their interest and high regard for this divine institution. Those who sanctified the Lord God in their hearts by a strictly devotional frame of mind, and who seek to improve the sacred hours in keeping the Sabbath to the best of their ability, and to honor God by calling the Sabbath a delight, heavenly angels are sent to them with special blessings with light and health, and special strength will be given them.

The word of God says, “Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the Sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.” “The sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve Him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be His servants, everyone that keepeth the Sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of My covenant; even them will I bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer.” Isaiah 56:1, 2, 6, 7."

Today, I'm praying for these three things for you and your family.

1.

That you would be patient with others.

Patience is one of the greatest attributes that mankind can possess. Remember, not everyone is moving at your pace, so always ask God to help you be mindful of others.

2.

May your cup overflow with heavenly blessings.

God never blesses a person without allowing them to be a means of blessing to others.

3.

That you would have good health.

It is not money, houses, jobs, or other things called stuff that give you a better quality of life. It is only through the door of good health that you can appreciate all these things that will give you a better quality of life.

May God bless you always with health, prosperity, strength, peace of mind, love, joy, hope, and many more blessings too numerous to mention.

Have a wonderful day

HOLY DAY, JEHOVAH’S ’s REST

Did you know that one of the most misinterpreted commandments of the Ten Commandments, is the fourth commandment?

This is because this commandment calls mankind to remember that Saturday, the Seventh-day of the week, is the Sabbath of the LORD, and this commandment commands mankind to keep it holy.

The Bible says, "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief." Hebrews 4:9-11

My friend, did you know that God is not concerned with us keeping one of the Commands HE gave, HE has commanded us to obey HIM and keep all TEN COMMANDMENTS. Yet, if we keep the whole Law but stumble in one point, we have become guilty of [breaking] all TEN COMMANDMENTS.

"For HE who said, “DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY,” also said, “DO NOT MURDER.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but you murder, you have become [g]guilty of transgressing the [entire] Law. Speak and act [consistently] as people who are going to be judged by the law of liberty [that moral law that frees obedient servants of GOD from the bondage of sin]." James 2:11-12. God is not concerned with us keeping one of the Commandments HE gave; HE has commanded us to obey HIM and keep all TEN COMMANDMENTS. Yet, if we keep the whole Law but stumble in one point, we have become guilty of [breaking] all TEN COMMANDMENTS.

Yet keeping the Sabbath holy doesn't free a man from doing good on the Sabbath day or working in an essential service on the Sabbath day.

In essence, God was telling His people that they were to keep this day, the Sabbath, as holy to Him. THIS DAY WAS SET ASIDE BY GOD AS A MEMORIAL OF CREATION.

A memorial is that which serves to keep in memory. The Passover and Feast of unleavened bread were designed to call to mind the deliverance of the children of Israel from Egyptian bondage, and thus keep in memory their great Deliverer. The Lord’s Supper and Baptism were given to remind the church of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ, and thus keep in memory our Lord and Master.

The Sabbath was designed to call to mind Jehovah’s Rest on the seventh day, after he had created all things in six, and thus keep in memory the living God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth. It is the great safeguard against Atheism and Idolatry. If men had always kept the Sabbath, they never could have forgotten God; never would have doubted the existence of the Creator, for this institution was designed to point them back to the time when he created the heavens and the earth. And they never would have worshiped other gods, for this institution points out the true God, who created all things in six days, and rested on the seventh.

The Sabbath, then, is a memorial of the living God. The institution is perfectly calculated to call the Creator of all things to mind, and keep him in perpetual remembrance. God worked six days in the work of creation, and rested on the seventh day. The Sabbath law says, “Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work; but the seventh day is the Sabbath [Rest] of the Lord thy God; in it thou shalt not do any work.” He who observes, and understandingly celebrates Jehovah’s Rest-day in its weekly returns, is in a special manner led to contemplate his six days’ work of creation. And as he views the heavens above, and the earth beneath, and surveys the Creator’s handy-works, his mind is led upward to the living God. Among all the holy institutions God has given to man, none is more sacred than the Sabbath. It stands in the very front. It is the mighty monument, reared at creation to point our race heavenward to the omnipotent God. It is the chord that binds finite man to the infinite God; the chain that links earth to heaven, and man to his Creator.

In closing, the songwriter was right when he wrote the song, "HOLY DAY, JEHOVAH’S ’s REST." The lyrics of the song are;

1.

Holy day, Jehovah's rest, of creation's week the best;

Last of all the chosen seven,

Blessed of God, to man 'twas given.

Refrain

Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome;

Glad we hail its presence blest,

'Tis the great Jehovah's rest.

2

First His six days' work was done,

Then the Sabbath was begun;

Thus He blessed the seventh day,

Thus in resting we obey.

Refrain

3

Thousands have His plan reversed,

Resting now upon the first;

Search the Book and you shall know

There's no scripture tells them so.

Refrain

4

All who speak the truth must say

It was man who changed the day;

In God's word no change appears

Through the whole six thousand years!

Refrain

5

Thus I searched; and when I saw

Only one great Sabbath law,

Then I hastened to obey —

Plainly, 'twas the only way.

Refrain

As we meditate and reflect upon this message. May we hasten to obey all God's Commandments by faith and be like the Psalmist and say, according to Psalms 119:60-64 the New International Version or (NIV). "I will hasten and not delay to obey your commands. Though the wicked bind me with ropes, I will not forget your law. At midnight, I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws. I am a friend to all who fear you, to all who follow your precepts."

May you have a HAPPY SABBATH! Blessings, Blessings, Blessings
