For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. Isaiah 55:8 Good morning Prayer Warriors and Leaders,
The surgery went well with Kevina yesterday. The doctors said that they took test around the outer areas and can see that the tumor was contained. Over the next few days in hospital they will be monitoring her closely. At this point as far as they can see, there is no other tumors to worry about. Just the road of recovery now. PRAISE GOD!
Kevina is in the intensive care and did speak to us. What a person God has given the world. The doctors and nurses are monitoring her.
On top of all these things that we as a family have encountered, God is still worthy to be praised. Today I have been asked to speak a word for my loving Jesus at one of the churches in the area. Then next week, I have been asked to be the keynote speaker for a prison convention week-end at a church just outside of Boston. With both invitations I have accepted in my infirmities.
This morning the Lord came to me and said, "There is a great work to be done in Bermuda and other parts of the world. God's servants are to go from house to house, even church to church in these closing hours of earths history, watching for opportunities to sow the seeds of truth. But many of God's people act as if He desired them to hide their light under a bushel. Today the Lord is saying to all, "Bring froth your light. Set it on a candlestick, that it may gave light to all that are in the house. Note this is not our house but God's house.
Wake-up, my brethren and sisters, wake-up, and work for the conversion of souls.Do not find fault and criticize. if we do, we spend our energies in Satan's cause. Do not gave way to anger, because you think that you are misunderstood. Was not the Master misunderstood? Speak no word of doubt or unbelief. The more you talk of the difficulties in the way, the larger will they appear. do not accuse your brethren, Rather accuse yourselves in the light of the cross. We all need Jesus.
An untold amount of mischief is done by words of faultfinding and slander. Never tear down the reputation of a fellow being, yet alone a fellow colleague. Today the Lord is grieved when His people stand aloof from one another. Thus they show their weakness, and range themselves on the enemy's side. Let no one weaken the hand of another. Let every man do what he can to build up, not tear down the work of the Lord in the earth."

"Let us lay aside every weight, and the
sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that
is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our
faith." Hebrews 12:1, 2
In the epistle to the Hebrews is pointed out
the single-hearted purpose that should characterize the Christian's race for
eternal life: Envy, malice, evil thinking, evilspeaking, covetousness--these
are weights that the Christian must lay aside if he would run successfully the
race for immortality. Every habit or practice that leads into sin and brings
dishonor upon Christ and His church must be put away, whatever the sacrifice.
The blessing of heaven cannot attend anyone
who is violating the eternal principles of right. One sin cherished is
sufficient to work degradation of character and to mislead others. Understand this
most important point. One sin in our life not fully confessed would cause us
not to be saved, or stop someone from seeing Jesus in us fully and can cause
their fall.
The song writer was right when he wrote that
those who choose to live apart from God are like, “Stiff necked fools, who
think they are cool.” These persons deny the simplicity of the word of God, because
they have gone for so long, loving vanity. These have the wrong interpretation
of the Bible.
They are mixed up with vain imagination in
worshiping the gods of gold, silver, stone, and wood. In the name of Jesus, it
is time to erase the fantasy of this world, and cling to the righteousness of
Christ and teach the truth. Soon those who do not listen to these words will be
called fools who die for want of wisdom.
Jesus said, "If thy hand cause thee to
stumble, cut it off: it is good for thee to enter into life maimed, rather then
having thy two hands to go into hell, into the unquenchable fire. And if thy
foot cause thee to stumble, cut it off: it is good for thee to enter into life
halt, rather than having thy two feet to be cast into hell. And if thine eye offend
thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with
one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:" Mark 9:43-47
If we fully analyze these things today, how
much more earnest we would be to put away sin, which brings death to the soul! The
competitors in the ancient games, after they had submitted to self-denial and rigid
discipline, were not even sure of the victory. "Know ye not," Paul
asked, "that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the
prize?" However eagerly and earnestly the runners might strive, the prize
could be awarded to but one. One hand only could grasp the coveted garland.
Some might put forth the utmost effort to obtain the prize, but as they reached
forth the hand to secure it, another, an instant before them, might grasp the
coveted treasure. May you do all through the Holy Spirit to win the prize.
May
the Blessings of God rest on you

Good Morning Prayer Warriors and Leaders,
Pray this email finds you and your families doing well. Tuesday and Wednesday where long days with the doctors. The two specialist where all amazed with the quick healing to my face and eye. To the glory of God! Infect one of them had to take some pictures of what they saw. On the downside, the pain I am having in the afternoon from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm they said, is from my nerves trying to awake in my face and around my eye.
They will monitor it but will not do anything as yet by way of another operation. They said these are still early days after what happen to me just a few months ago. Pain killers are the only answer at this point, but only after the work on my mouth is over in the next few days with the dentist.
Keep your heads up today because the time of loss is the testing time for courage. Remember that even in times of seemingly total loss. Faith and a clear conscience are courageous. Take out time today to meditate on these words.
Finally beloved, now are we the sons and daughters of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2
To those of you who are having a hard time with someone, look on the bright side and see the big picture. One day the Bible says, "the wicked shall flee when no man pursueth them: but the righteous, (I'm talking about you) shall be bold as a lion. Proverbs 28:1

Good
day Prayer Warriors and Leaders,
It has been a number of weeks since I wrote
to you with an update report on the hand of God in the life of Kevina and our
family. Thank you so very much for your faithful prayers, because your prayers
are making a difference in the healing. Over the last few weeks in Bermuda away
from Kevina, Karis, and Karon has been a blessing and a testing time, but I
want to thank God for the many people who had come beside us with
an encouraging word and acts of kindness.
At the top of the list were the workers of
the Correction Department overseen by our Commissioner Lt. Colonel Edward Lamb
Ed. Tasco and chiefs. Next we have but not in order, the Pastors and members of
the churches in Bermuda. During the last six weeks of working at home, members
from the Seventh-day Adventist Church had also taken the lead in seeing that I
had a hot meal daily with some faithful neighbors and officers from the
Correction Department.
I can't overlook the understanding of
my colleagues in ministry, Dr. Manders, Pastor Tull, and Elder
Aaron Spencer and the many other staff members for working with me and my
family. To Big Brother Russ, Africa, and Donald, thanks for your words of
encouragement always. These are just a few of the many people who have taken
our names to the Lord in prayer.
We have had many test during this last year,
but we as a family have determine to take the high road and remain faithful to
God. We have had people falsify my name and my work as a Bible Instructor and
Chaplaincy appointments. But the Lord has shown me that it is not earthly rank,
nor birth, nor nationality, nor religious privilege, which proves that we are
members of the family of God; it is love, a love that embraces all humanity.
May we all understand that it is Satan's
constant effort to misrepresent the character of God and His people, the nature
of sin, and the real issues at stake in the Great Controversy. His sophistry has
lessens the obligation of the divine law and gives men license to sin. At the
same time he has cause men to cherish false conceptions of God and His people
so that they regard them with fear and hate rather than with love. With these
attacks by Satan and his followers, it has driven us as a family to our knees
to ask God to always give us a biblical and practical approach with loving all
men. Our goal in life is not to harm, but to LOVE GOD, AND ALL HIS PEOPLE.
We don't have much in finances these
days. Jesus Knows!!!! But we have loving people like you, who in our
deepest moments have shared a smile, made a call, said a kind word,
or sent a few dollars to help. With many people suffering with sickness,
we as a family would love to encourage all to continue to look out for others
also. Thank you.
As the work of the Lord continues in heaven
and earth, let us pray for a revival & reformation among Gods people. But
first may that revival and reformation begin among all pastors, leaders of
governments, and municipalities. Let us continue to pray for this same
infilling of the Holy Spirit among all commissioners of Prisons, Commissions of
Police with their staff, and heads of Armies and their troops.
Let us take out time to pray for a revival
& reformation among all Governors, Presidents, Queens,
Kings and citizens of every country etc. In the words of the
Apostle Paul, "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications,
prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;For
kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and
peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in
the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come
unto the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 KJV
Today is Monday October 19th and I am back in
Boston for a follow up tomorrow since my operation. On Wednesday Oct. 21
and Thursday 22, I will be having more work done on my mouth. This week October
23th will make one year since Kevina has been in Boston diagnosed with
Cancer in her head. Keep her in your prayers because on Friday October 30th,
she will undergo another major operation to remove
the remaining cancer from her. The song writer was right,NOBODY
KNOWS THE TROUBLE I’VE SEEN BUT JESUS.
To you our faithful friend, thank you for
your love.
