Good
morning All,
As the New Year came
rolling in last night at whatever time you celebrated it. I pray it was filled
with great joy, and love as we had with our family. This year I pray that the
goodness of God may fill you and your homes with joy, peace, love, prosperity,
and good health always. Looking ahead, I wish the fulfillment of the prayer of
Jesus on you and your fellow men, brother with brother, and sister with sister
in the body of Christ. “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in
me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may (know
and) believe that thou hast sent me.” John 17:21
This year God has a
great plan for you and your family in your home, your work place, and your place of
recreation with your fellow men. I am happy to be a part of Gods plan to bring
you to the place that He can move upon you and work through you in these last
days. Remember, God has a deep interest in you, and greatly desire to see you
striving to perfect a character like Him, Continue to seek by diligent study
and earnest prayer to gain the training essential for acceptable service in the
cause of God and He shall reward you openly.
It doesn't matter
how great your trials may seem this year; they cannot exceed what Christ
endured for you that you might know the way, the truth, and the life. The Lord
has shown me this morning that in 2016 it is only by a life of conformity to
His example, we are to show our appreciation of His sacrifice in our behalf,
and be overcomers.
You must see that you
are bought with an infinite price, even the blood of the Son of God. As you put
one step in front of the other on the 2016 road of life, consider the sacrifice
of the Father in permitting His Son to make His sacrifice for you. Consider
what Christ gave up when He left the courts of heaven and the royal throne, to
give His life a daily sacrifice for you.
He suffered reproach
and abuse. He bore all the insult and mockery that wicked men could heap upon
Him. And when His earthly ministry was accomplished, He suffered the death of
the cross. Consider His sufferings on the cross,--the nails driven into His
hands and feet, the derision and abuse from those He came to save. Consider the
hiding of His Father's face because of His great love for you. But it was by
all this that Christ made it possible for all, you even me, who are willing, to
have the life that measures with the life of God.
May your community be filled with joy, peace,
and love because of you. May your day be filled with blessings as a token of
the many wonderful blessings that God has in store for you and through you to
others this year.
Prayer for the day: My number one prayer this
year is that I give you my heart Lord, and help others do the same through the
Holy Spirits power.
Keep us in prayer as I
continue to pray for you and your family.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
Maranatha, Jesus is
coming
