Our Devotional
The power of time is not measured by time itself, but by the change of those who enter it. Good day and thanks to all who have been praying for God’s Kingdom to come and my return to Garden Ministry also. It has been almost three weeks since we had a word from Garden Ministry. Over the next couple of days we shall examine the power of the Holy Spirit in the church, Gods called out people. It is our prayer that you with us may be filled with a greater measure of the Holy Spirits power.
How does one measure power? Power is the rate of doing work or producing or expending energy. In other words, power is a measure of how quickly a work can be done. Power is often measured in watts or kilowatts. Since power is the work done or energy converted per unit of time, to calculate the power, the formula is:
Work +Time = Power
Another way to look at power is as a unit of speed (m/s) combined with a unit of force (N). If you were pushing on something with a force of 1 N, and it moved at a speed of 1 m/s, your power output would be 1 watt.
After Christ was crucified, the disciples were crushed by despondency, grief, despair, and they were perplexed. All have agreed that their lack of comprehension of the will of God led to this befuddled outlook, but this would soon change. Hopelessness will turn to hope, and disappointment to contentment. Like the disciples of old, there are times when Gods modern day people become like the disciples of old, where they are filled with fear and needless distress. It is at these times, that their faith need to penetrate beyond the shadow that Satan has cast over their horizon. Today God is longing that all will be spared much sorrow, but this can only happen if they believe on the word of God.
After the resurrection of Jesus, He would meet with His disciples up until the fiftieth day after the resurrection morning. Whenever most people travel they plan, in like manner, preparation by Jesus was also important before He was called up in glory to finish His work of redemption. Before Jesus left the disciples, He worked them day and night into a spirit of readiness and preparation by explaining to them those things which they had been unable to comprehend.
During this time the prophecies concerning His first advent, His rejection, His death, and His second coming where the highlights of His teaching with His disciples. Like every good teacher of our day, Jesus showed every specification of these prophecies. Today it is time for every teacher and preacher who is worth their salt to be like Jesus, and explain the scripture. Let us get back to the word and open it up to the people. May the Holy Spirit bless you today as you open your Bible and study!

Bermuda:
Ø Can you please pray for two men who are in need of medical care through a bike accident while traveling east in Bermuda. They struck a car traveling in the opposite direction. Both the pillion passenger and the rider were trapped under the car and had to be extricated by police and members of the public. One of the gentlemen involved in the accident last night [June 19] on Blue Hole Hill will has been airlifted to Massachusetts for further medical attention this afternoon. The other gentleman involved in the accident is presently listed as stable in the Intensive Care Unit of KEMH. Both men are 33 years old.

Ø Please pray for the “String of Hope” School and Clinic in Ghana, West Africa. The 20+ students (and growing), often have to walk 20+miles to the facility. During their trek, they are exposed to the often adverse elements, guerilla rebels, wild animals and other dangers; they are in immediate need of acceptable motor conveyance to pick-up and return them to their outlying communities, pick up and deliver donated supplies and material from the debarkation point to their facility.
